Meiler Lab hosts first international developer retreat

The Meiler lab hosted a four-day developer retreat in the Great Smoky Mountains from July 24-27th. The focus of the retreat was building a powerhouse for computational method development in chemical and structural biology in the age of AI. Vanderbilt students, post-docs, and faculty joined international specialists from Leipzig University in-person for the duration of the retreat. Invited speakers guided the group on technical discussions, cutting-edge developments in machine learning, recent literature, and technical demonstrations. The successful retreat paved the way for future collaborations and research projects.
